An environment branch forms part of HOFSTEDE B.V.. This branch mainly occupies itself with the various types of soil decontamination, as there are:

- Clearing and processing of contaminated soil
- Site engineering (so-called Soilremediation)
- Groundwater treatment
- Cleaning soil from asbestos

The combination of demolition/dismantling on the one hand, and clean-up operations at the other will have a positive effect on the lead time of a project.
